Sport Berkley Water Bottles

Just looking for some feedback on these.
If u have used or use these would you consider leaving the neglene at home?

I carry one EDC in the truck back pack. My thinking is the same as yours here, why just carry a container for water, when I can carry a light weight water filter. I bought mine about 6 years ago, and have only "used" it once. I just carry it empty in case of an emergency. I think I paid $15-20.
I would most likely boil water anyway, but it cant hurt to use a filter as well. Just my 2 cent's on these.
