I noticed these were in stock again last week and ordered one; the brown truck came early today while i was home for lunch.
A few quick Pics:

23" OAL, head is 7 3/4" along the top. I don't think a standard axe handle will fit. the eye measures 1 1/8" X 2 5/8".I dont have a scale but the head has to weigh at least 4 pounds, maybe more. It feels really odd on that short handle but the fit and finish seem good. Appears to be about a 180 grit belt finish on the head. The edge is way too thick but i can fix that. :) There is one ding on the handle, probably from another axe in the shipping crate, but no big deal.

Let me know what you think.

randy

ETA Photobucket is acting strange, will try to fix the pic attachments after work.

Man the cheeks widen out a lot. I bet it bites deep but I don't know the extra weight would make it worth it to carry or not. I'm interested to hear how it performs though. Can't judge an axe till you use it.

What an odd shape for an axe. Might be good for splitting kindling.

That thing would be murder to use, especially in splitting.

I'll take my CT boys axe waaaaaaay better profile.
