SPOT as a kerambit?

I've been trying to find an affordable kerambit, but it seems the choices for a production kerambit are rather slim. Does the SPOT work equally as well in the reverse grip as it does in the forward grip?

The Spot and the karambit are quite different. The finger hole on the Spot is up front, on the karambit it is at the the end. A karambit practitioner switches grips by flipping it around the finger hole and repositioning. A karambit has a very different blade geometry making for nasty draw cuts. IMHO the Spot is best in a forward grip; it is a nice neck knife. I am sure that Sal has a karambit design on the back burner some where. Karambits are kind of a upcomming fad right now. I would love to see a Spyderco folding karambit.;)

AlphaEdge,

The placement of the hole was my primary concern. I seem to remember a few posts here and there with Sal mentioning that there is a kerambit in the works, I could be wrong though. I just wish more companies would get on the bandwagon and start producing more knives of this design.
