I was watching the Bolivia episode of Top Gear the other day and noticed a Mora Scout hanging on James May's "Belt of Many Things". Spotted the other last night on the first episode of the new series of Bizzare Foods. Andrew Zimmern was using a Mora Clipper to cut apart a grilled bamboo rat. I was just happy to see what seemed like wise decisions of people at least somewhat in "the know". On Top Gear, they were making their way through the Amazon Jungle and had the Mora and a good local machete on hand. pretty smart.

i saw the mora draw knife on OETA woodworking show...cant remember the name but the guy uses only hand tools/OLD tools to make stuff

was the red handled one...i was like HOLY COW! MORA!

Zimmern rules BTW!

On Deadliest Catch, you know the crab fishermen in Alaska: A line gets tangled up or something and one guy yells to another "Hey, hand me your Mora".

I was going to post that I thought the guys on Deadliest Catch usually have them hanging from their jacket or belt. On one episode I recall them mentioning that they must have them at the ready all the time in case someone gets tangled up in line (or they themselves get tangled up and pulled overboard).
