The "Favorite out of production knife" thread got me thinking. I REALY like the looks of the Randall Sasquatch models. I believe they made a large and small version??
Does anyone have any pics, info or history on these?? Also, has anyone spotted any for sale?? I know, I should make the 1 hour trip to Orlando and find all this information out myself, first hand

AND.....maybe break down and buy the book!!!!!
A small Sasquatch with a #1 style guard and black micarta border patrol handle.....They SHOULD bring them back into production!!!!!

Correct me someone if I am wrong, but I think each Randall dealer has their own special model knife made that can only be purchased from them. The Sasquatch is Doug Kenefick's special model. I don't think the Sasquatch is even in the Randall catalog. Anyway, his number is 860-774-8929. He is a very reputable dealer & I have bought several knives from him.

3 toes,
Next week I have to go to Orlando on business. I've said it a hundred times before but this time I AM going to stop at the Randall shop. I will see what's in stock, pick their brains about the Sasquatch and a custom #1 I've been thinking about and maybe do a little drooling

It's definately the recurved blade that attracts me to the Sasquatch! I get the same feeling when I look at a Brend.

Well great, now I have yet another knife to buy!

Great looking knife - anybody want to sell one?

Not2sharp,
I am trying to convince myself that It would be like buying a Randall AND a Brend at the same time for the same price

This being due to the recurved shape, etc, etc,.....
Thats a savings of......let's see........
Well lots of $$$$

Dr. Lathe,

That sound like a very reasonable argument. I am putting it on my list right below the Parrish Survival knife.

Dr. Lathe,

Did you get to stop by the Randall shop - any success in your search for Sasquatch?

Several people also Emailed me in regards to Doug Kenefick. The Sasquatch IS his exclusive model. I will contact him tomorow and post whatever information he can provide me.
