I just placed my first order with New Graham Knives. For me, I ordered a Sharpmaker. My deal on eBay turned out very badly, now I'm out $25 and still have no Sharpmaker.

I really wanted to buy another knive for myself, but I'm saving for the Lava and others. So instead, I decided to buy a couple Spydies as gifts to two friends not familiar with the great Golden Bug Company.

First, I got a yellow Pacific Salt PE for my fishing buddy, a non-knife person. I was think about the Catcherman instead, but have not heard too much about that knife, plus I think he'll enjoy the rust-proof H-1 steel and bright handle (and of course the high quality).

Next, I got a SS Endura 4 CE for my sister's boyfriend. He does carry a knife, but its a Smith & Wesson linerlock. He mentioned he likes serrations so I'm hoping the CE Endura will convert him to Spyderco.

From what I hear, NG is a great store. I'm hoping to get them soon so I can spread the good word about these great knives so maybe the next time they are thinking about getting a knife, they'll think of Spyderco (and New Graham too!).

What is the typical delivery time from NG, shipping to east coast USA? Thanks.

NGK is a good company to deal with. Got my Schempp Kris about 4-5 days after I ordered it.

It should have a SS handle so people who receive it can engrave initials, country and date on it. Reminds me of the story Paddle to the Sea that I read as a kid a about a toy boat traveling the great lakes.

My last two NG orders (both including Spydercos) took 6 days from the day I placed the order. Seemed like good folks to deal with.

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered two Spydies and had them sent to a hotel I was planning to stay at on my way to Florida. I ordered the knives on Sunday and they were in Bagor, Maine on Wednesday. Best of all, I was in the U.S. long enough to claim them without paying duty! I'll be ordering from NGK again for certain.

I guess it would depend on where you are on the east coast. I'm in the Piedmont Triad and everytime I order something from them I always get it in two days  (well three if you count the day I place the order but that is still very fast) I think I receive my Spyderco's so quick from them b/c they are only like 150 miles from me. NG is a wonderful place to do business with btw. Its my favorite place to buy Spyderco's from.

I live in southern Ohio and I generally get my order, Ground UPS, in 2 days. NGK does a great job of getting orders out pronto and then you'll get an email so you can track your package.

Wow -- thanks for all the positive feedback! I'm glad to read so many good comments about New Graham. Prior to this, all my knives were bought from eBay, and two from Grand Prarie (an excellent transaction, BTW, I would recommend them too).

Thanks again! I'm sure I'll post more once the package arrives. Now if I can only follow through on my intent and actually give the knives away intead of keeping them for myself!:D
