Just gave away a BM856 to a co-worker who for some time would ask to see my new knives and borrow my knife catalogs. While he liked the knives, the price (and the lousy conversion rate of the Ringgit to the US$) always held him back.

Since I never really liked the BM anyway (ever had those knives which right after picking it up, you wonder why you even bought them?!!), I'm glad to see it get a good home. Watching him play around with his new toy, opening and closing with a big smile on his face was a lot more fun than owning it. I think I've just converted one knife knut

If this warm, fuzzy feeling feeling lasts, come Christmas (money permitting) I'm gonna shell out for a couple of CRKTs and give them all away as gifts to my other co-workers. Then, maybe I'll be able to carry my SOCOM to work without getting worried that some gentle soul will see it as a 'weapon'

I've converted a multi-tool user to carrying a multi-tool along with a CRKT Point Guard and a Gigand Summit. He is planning to get some other stuff, possibly Benchmade or Microtech later.

Another friend bought my old S&W SWAT off me (I sold it because it had a S&W logo on it, and I just heard about that crappy with they made with Clinton). Now he carries a CS Scimitar that he had me order for him.

I've also started a family friend on knives. He bought an Emerson CQC-7 plain edge from my collection. And there are some others as well, just can't remember off hand.
