I've got a Sprig coming. Not my preferred steel but the knife itself is a good fit for my needs. I'd much prefer it in LC 200N for both ease of sharpening and corrosion protection. Would this combination interest anyone besides me. A rustproof, easier to sharpen bird and trout knife seems like a no brainer.

The Waterway should be a bit larger and more robust than the Sprig, but the specs are actually pretty dang close. I've been debating the Sprig to pair with my South Fork, but the Waterway is very appealing to me as well and has a significant price advantage.

Sprig:
  • Blade Length: 4.23"
  • Cutting Edge: 3.77"
  • Overall Length: 8.67"
  • Blade Thickness: 0.118"
  • Blade Material: CPM S90V Stainless Steel
Waterway:
  • Blade Length: 4.40"
  • Cutting Edge: 4.05"
  • Handle Length: 4.5"
  • Overall Length: 9.47"
  • Blade Thickness: 0.132"
  • Blade Material: LC200N
