Spring day hike with fellow forum members - Manitou Mountain, Ontario, Canada

Four knifenuts got together for a day hike in the Manitou Mountain area, southern Ontario, Canada.
There was me, J_Roc, greyhaven, Doc Holiday, and J_Roc's dog Sally.
Here's some pictures we took during the day!

We found some fatwood right at the lookout...didn't harvest any to preserve the place:

A great hike my brothers. Bad weather means more gear to test! I used to hate the rain, now I love it with the right equipment. And cooler air means I can carry more toys!

Great stuff buddy, wish I could have been there with you guys! Greyhaven's pack looks like a monster molle! Nice blades, looks like you've been in the shop some more.

Hey mon ami!

Yeah, it was a blast, as drow mentioned, poor weather just means a better test of the gear!

P.S. Sally only looks sad because I had to put her on the leash when we took those pics...maybe she thought we were going home already.

Otherwise I think she was in Doggy Disneyland that day!

Hey Ken! Actually, only one from me is the far left one, red handled. The two from the right are from Doc Holiday (Alex)...he's churning out some awesome and stout knives! Let me know when you're around!

Yeah we certainly had a blast, it was my first time at Manitou mountain and it was awesome! It reminds me the Eardley Escarpment a bit but it's always fun to prospect new places. I'm really looking forward to go again... for an overnighter I hope. Thanks guys, I really had a great day:thumbup:
