most likely my last ski trip of this year; we got a storm that rolled through a couple of days ago so figured I better make the most of it- talked my wife into giving the fat skis (Altai Hoks) a go
no one had been in so it was fresh snow for us
absolutely beautiful day
brought the tiak- works well for me especially on downhill stuff
unfortunately the snow became increasingly difficult with the warming sun- even with waxing it was just a short time before the snow would start sticking, but we made the best of it
had a small bridge to cross on the way out, wife wouldn't have any part of crossing it with skis on- so I put her skis on my pack
even with the snow less than ideal, still a great day to get out- most likely the last ski trip until next winter
