Hello, new to this forum. Thanks in advance for the conversation! I'm a 40 year owner of several LB5 knives and was checking to see if anyone knows if the springs can be replaced fairly easy?

Just had one to break this week and did not want to add it to the used collection.
 
Let's try this in the "fix-it" forum.
 
The backspring has to be removed to replace the spring.
