spring for Random Task 1510

I have an original Random Task 1510 with a broken spring. I contacted Kershaw customer service for a replacement and was told they do not have parts for that knife any more. They did offer me any knife in their catalogue up to the $149.95 MSRP of my knife when it was new. That's a very nice offer but I'd really just like to have my knife working in the fashion it was when it was new. I've carried it for many years and I really like it.

I've googled my fingers numb. I found one reference that said the springs for the new model Random Task (the 1515) will not work.

Can anyone confirm that and if so, are there any other sources for new/old stock springs?

Any other place I might inquire?

Thanks!

If you can send me your old spring or springs Ha Ha , I will see if I can match it up somehow. Also member pg5768 I believe has extensive info on screw types and other info on these.
