Spring gathering..... A week out! Yay!!!!!!!

Just got back from Beckerhead Camp having restocked the "Field Sanitary Facility" and taken stock of what other stuff needs done....... Firewood, lots of firewood.....LOL......

The damned bugs are out in force this year and I recommend soaking all your clothing in half percent permethrin..... Many folks make the stuff..... Sawyer, Jt Eaton and others including 3M package it....You spray your clothes let 'me dry and it is good for six weeks..... I bought a gallon on the lady warrior site for thirty seven bucks..... According to HSO(my all time favorite professional paranoid) it is very safe for humans and it HAS NO SMELL...... I plan on a daily wash of exposed skin with Miss Tara's most excellent and woodsy smelling anti bug soap and the permethrin treated clothing...... I have hated the smell of bug dope since the days of 6-12 which did nothing but make you gag to DEET days...... Progress methinks ......

PM 1066 Vik about Tara's soap..... I love the smell....... Subtle and woodsy.......

I will be bumping this from time to time to give you all updates.......

Dont work yourself to hard E, let us do that, I know Erik will be there and I'll be riding up with Murph so we'll be there a little early to do what needs to be taken care of. I also ordered you some belts for your grinder this morning, I knew if I asked you would of told me not to worry about it, you have plenty, but we use the shit out of them when we are there so I'm bringing you a assortment. Also, (Vik) I'm assuming your bringing you forge set up? My boy and I went on a hike the other day on the train tracks nearby and collected over 40 RR spikes for everyone to heat and beat!

The pig's shaven and greased, Todd has to hold him on the way down. Reminder not to spray E's bug stuff directly on the skin....I'm an idiot. We'll be down to help early boss.
 
Spent a bit of time up at Beckerhead Camp with a blower and general scout about..... We have two danger trees to take out and turn into smoke and co2...... Will need a hand with splitting maul and moving the stuff to the pile.... Otherwise .... Looking good....
