Hopefully spring is finally here. My wife is in full-on spring cleaning mode so I suspect spring has finally sprung. We're in the process of reducing clutter and finding new homes for accumulated stuff that isn't getting used.
There will be two winners in this giveaway. Neither item is valuable (sorry about that) but each is rather famous on this forum and this gives two people an opportunity to try something that nearly everyone recommends.
One of the items is a Mora HighQ Allround Carbon.
While this knife isn't new - it's probably 3 years old now - it is unused. It has not been sharpened, nor has it cut a single thing. It does come with a sheath.
The other item is a Opinel # 9 (carbon steel).
It isn't new either - probably 3 years old - but it has never been used or sharpened.
Both were purchased new, by myself and both have sat in storage since received (and are in brand new condition). Since they don't see use, and it doesn't make sense to try and sell them, it's time to give them to someone who will use and appreciate them.
Now for the fine print....
I'll cover shipping within the USA.
A winner outside the USA will have to cover the shipping themselves.
Anyone can play.
Be of legal age and make sure the item is legal in your area.
Just to make things interesting, please give your answers to the following questions:
1. Of the knives that I own, which one is my favorite?
2. Of the knives I own, which one is my most cherished?
I'll give 3 hints;
1. I didn't include pictures of the giveaway items for a reason.
2. The two are not the same.
3. The answers can be found on this very forum.
You don't have to answer the questions to enter, but doing so might improve your chance of winning. Get one answer correct and you have two chances. Get both answers correct and you have four chances.
If you choose not to answer the questions, please post a picture of something relating to spring, or a few comments about your plans for spring.
I'll let this run for a week or two - whenever I think it has run its course.
Each entry will be assigned a number. Each entry with one correct answer will be assigned two numbers, and each entry with both answers correct will be assigned four numbers. I'll then use a random number generator to choose the winners. The first person chosen gets their choice of the two items up for grabs.
If you find the answers, please do not link to them - just provide the answers in your post.
