It was 70° here today and I got out in the shop and did something...at last.

I finished grinding a blade that has been sitting out there on the north side of the house all winter waiting for my wuss ass. Then profiled, drilled and ground two more. All three are ramping in the furnace now.

It feels great to do something constructive for a change. All I managed to do this winter was to get the KITH knife together.

Yep, for the last couple of days here, it's been shorts and sandals again, for the first time in months. I love warmer weather, but I have a feeling it's only fleeting.:D

Must be nice, still snowing here with below normal temperatures. Sure would be nice to see some 40 degree temps soon. :(

I know spring is close when I see the robins. Saw quite a few yesterday. It's still chilly here. March is an unpredictable month.

Same here, this weather is really sucking. :grumpy: :grumpy:

I saw a few robins this morning. They all had longjohns on. Burrrrrr

We will still have a late March storm for what John Nichols called "The Annual Freezing of the Fruit Blossom Festival" in the Milagro Beanfield War. April always has at least one major storm and I have seen it snow as late as Memorial Day. In between it gets warm though.

At least 8 or 9 years out of 10, we get our last frost in mid-June and first one in mid-September. Living at 5700 feet above sea level makes things interesting and the growing season short. Overall, though it is a much more pleasant climate than the solid, uncompromising several months of winter up north.

We're supposed to stay around 30 degrees below average for the rest of the week :grumpy:
The sun finally did come out today, but I was trapped at school taking finals and finishing up welding lab projects. Got er done, but I'm gonna be pissed tommorrow afternoon when I got nothin to do inside and its freezing ass cold and gloomy gray outside. I hate winter.
