OK - no knife content, but thought I'd share these with you.

My wife got me some snowshoes for Christmas and I was able to use them for the first time yesterday……..what a blast (and a workout) going up and down the hills. I have never used snowshoes in all the time I have spent in the north country of NY, MA, PA, etc. , and I have to say it’s pretty cool to walk over snow that you know you couldn’t otherwise. We had snow the night before and more was coming yesterday afternoon…..it was windy, but not too cold. Looking forward to going again! The ugly guy in the photo is my boss…..I guess I was uglier, because when he took photos of me, the camera didn’t work for him (or he was camera challenged!).

Enjoy!

Looks like some nice weather there.

Have you ever tried telemark skiing? I've tried snowshoeing and found it to be exhausting compared to the ski's.
