I feel a need for that tiny Rose. I'm not sure why, but if it's still around tomorrow I may need to snap it up.

I still think a 15" Rose would be the cats pajamas. Actually, I have a few ideas for the blade shape I've pondered for a few years now.

Wow....it HAS been a long time since We have been here!! Just wanted to say how Gorgeous the photos are!!
Simply Superb!!!

Is 16” blade length or oal? Would bend back the guard on th esharpened side though, but would love to have it! I wonder if that guard would parry a powerful strike from a similarly sized knife, or break? I had one with a finger guard but the blade was only 10” not 12” as I thought, so I gave it to my brother. The guard looks thick enough, would probably require some heat to reshape to a “s” shape.

HI always list over all length.

The knife was designed by a member here and the guard is in fact designed exactly for the parry you describe.

A lot of thought went into these, I recommend thinking and pondering before modifying something that might work really well.

You need to send an email to Yangdu if your interested. himimp@aol.com

Done deal on the L3! 16 in is definitely the overall length from tip of handle to tip of blade. The guard is definitely substantial. It would be able to catch another blade as designs by the outstanding gentleman mentioned before. It's an awesome knife I have one already. It was such well-made that I just couldn't pass this one up as well. Some blades are just so awesome you got to have two. Perhaps I should say outstanding value.

What is equally amazing is that it can very comfortably be carried in the waist band with its so designed sheath.

That L-3 guard aint gonna break on you unless maybe someones coming at you with a Tarwar or something similar and then again your wrist would prolly break first! That thick brass is stiff and really strong stuff.

Steely them little Roses are really sweet! Picture dont do them justice.

Agreed, the little Rose is a really handy knife and deceiving to look at. Feels splendid in hand.
