This morning I decided to take some photos of the place where I work.
Now that spring is here and it is starting to warm up, it is turning into a jungle around here.
These are just some random photos I took while wandering about the place.
We are not a modern, fancy place, but it is a fun place to come to work each day.

The shop is in Kerby Oregon. Not a very big town. We have one convenience store and two stop signs. Population is about 400 people.

Your guys's shop is very cool, I enjoyed my stop in there a while back even though it wasnt under the best circumstances.

Quint,
Since you are a lot younger and stronger than me, I need you to come back down this summer and help me sort the wood I have in storage.
Feel free to stop off and pick up Nick and a few of the other guys on your way here.

That's a gorgeous area, nice pics. I'm hoping to end up in that general area (Tacoma) in a couple years. Would be great to just drive down to get new wood from you :)

Haha yeah ofcourse finding a time when Nick isnt super busy would be a challenge. I am always amazed at all the talented knife makers in the WA and OR areas.

Crimson it is a little bit of a drive from Tacoma, however I will have to say that depending on the route you take it is an amazing drive. From Mark's place I continued on to the coast and took that down to Eureka and headed east into redding. It really has some amazing scenery to partake in. And some amazing shops to visit if you have time.

Well, it may be a bit of a drive from Tacoma, but it's at least in the realm of possibility, whereas here in Colorado, it's pretty much not :) We drove out to Tacoma a couple months ago, and Oregon and Washington were gorgeous.

Wow what a profoundly unusual place.

The place is off the wall. Something like you would find in the Hobbit or something. Looks like a fun place to work and not the kind of place to make think inside the box. Jim
