Hello friends, I present this piece with some scagel air. O1 steel blade forged, rounded back, 110mm long, 26mm high and thick blade +-3mm. Handle with a length of 115mm, consisting of a guard alpaca, welded sn-ag, vulcanized fiber, brass, cow horn of springbox and copper plug.

What a great looking knife. Surprised no one has commented on this yet. A very nice looking piece.
 
There are a lot of design elements here, and the proportions aren't necessarily conducive to what convention might dictate, and that may put some off.

For myself, I'm drawn to it. I can't put my finger on why, as I'm normally not too interested in knives such as this, but this one really works for me. Nice one, man!
 
Why not succesful?
I think, it looks great; the bold Scagel-esque lines compliments the handle nicely IMO

Don't be disheartened, sometimes it takes a while.
I've been a member of this forum for a little while and remember at least once a maker posted his work and it was a week before
he got the first response.
