Sprint Announcements?

How are Spyderco sprint releases announced? I see that the 2014 catalog has some listed, but is that it? Is it advisable to just keep an eye for additional announcements here or on the Spyderco forums?

Welcome to our forum.

Most are announced in the catalogs and mid-year. Sometimes we just spring them.

Of the two, the Factory forum would be the better bet, since there's always the possibility of a Dealer Exclusive from a dealer who cannot be mentioned here.

I frequent both forums now, so I will keep an eye out, I was just curious if maybe there was a more official announcement page somewhere, definitely don't want to miss an opportunity! :)

I'm waiting for that Yojimbo too! The new catalog has 5 sprints listed, 4 with Aogami Super Blue (Ladybug, Manbug, Dragonfly, Stretch) and the VG-10 Worker
 
I'm waiting for the fluted CF Para2. Handled a prototype at BLADE, but haven't heard any word yet on the steel in that one... It will be extremely pretty once it gets here!

Refresh my feeble memory - was that an integral compression lock, like the ATR, or just ("just" :rolleyes:) a fluted scale, like the Native 5 and Military versions?
