I'm looking at a Sprint Classic Pro with brown burlap scales. What are everyones thoughts on this knife? I am typically a fixed blade person but this one caught my eye. I normally don't buy production blades but again this one caught my eye while surfing.

Most everyone who carries one speaks highly of it, but being a Southpaw, I haven’t given it a second look. Now if Buck Knives Inc. Buck Knives Inc. or Lynch would make a Lefty clip for it, I’d give it a test drive for sure - in a non-Cerakoated, non-Vanadium carbide powdered metallurgy version, of course. :)

I brought up the possibility a couple of years ago about offering a left handed belt clip for Sprint series and went through the costing exercise and the tooling cost were cost prohibitive.
Thank you for looking into it!

Speaking of the Sprint pocket clip, I'm not a fan of the angle that it sits in the pocket. I like the knife, but the clip should have never been designed the way it was. For comparison, the Vantage and Slim Pro clips sit level and work very well.

I love mine. It feels great in the hand and is easy to use with work gloves.

I agree with P plb about the clip though. It seems like the clip was designed to sit most comfortably in my left pocket, but then everything gets turned around. I rarely bother with clips though. I just drop the knife in my pocket like a Philistine. It's a great knife!
