Sprint Para2 H1

It won't happen and if it does it'll be a completely different knife.

Think about it: the blade can't be FFG, so you'd have to compromise with a hollow grind. All the other metal components (screws, liners, clip) would have to be titanium making the knife way more expensive. At that point it might as well be a reeve integral lock since you can do that all titanium.

It'd be cool, but it's not all that practical.

On a related note, why isn't there a really heavy duty h1 model? With g10 scales and RIL. That would be pretty cool

It would need to be serrated for me to want it, but no way would I do yellow. I would have to rit dye it if that was the final choice.

Yes, yes, yes!! I would love to see a yellow para2 with H1!! I'll buy multiples for sure. Please Sal? :-D

Oooo, this would be interesting. I would like to see how would they modify it to make it rust proof [or 99.9%]. And a Yellow handle would be great!

I have always thought a military or para in H-1 would be the ultimate knife because rust is a knife's worst enemy, especially outdoors. I do NOT think that H1 would make a good/versatile steel for everyday use like S30v or VG10. I use my little salt and big salt only when I am expecting to sweat, traveling (I don't have the time to wipe down and oil everyday) and when I expect to encounter water. I like that these niche knives are light and relatively inexpensive.

That's the biggest problem that I see. I'd still probably enjoy trying one out, but I can't say that I'll hold my breath for one. Rust isn't a huge issue up here on the prairie/High desert anyway.

Because "heavy duty" is over rated and a trend like tactical.....thats my opinion at least.

Back on topic, I dont see it happening nor do I really want to see it. It takes away from the minimalist approach that draws me to the Salt series of knives.
