I've posted about it before...

I'll post about it again...

And I'm gonna keep on posting about it until the idea gets some traction!

SPRINT. RUN. STREET BEAT!!!

M4 and Carbon Fiber would be my suggestions now but nice, coarse G-10 would work too. Orange would be the color I'd like to see.

So, anyone who likes and supports a Sprint run Street Beat chime in and give your suggestions.

it better happen quick cause I am looking for one now :).

Sorry about that. I read the thread title and agreed with you so I amended it to not confuse others.

Wouldn't hold my breath. Aside from the extra cost of shipping the steel to Japan, getting a Japanese maker to work with non-Japanese steel would be problematic. They tend to "become confused" when forced to work with foreign materials.

Hmm. Well, while my first two choices would be CPM steels (M4 and D2), I wouldn't mind another Japanese steel. Super Blue perhaps. ZDP wouldn't be bad either.

And (DON'T YELL AT ME!) Taiwan is doing a great job it seems with the Gayle Bradley folder. Perhaps they could do the run there?

What are some tough, yet still high hardness Japanese tool steels?

I'm in for 2 or 3! M4 would be fantastic but I will settle for S30V or CPM-D2. Agressive Green or Black and Blue G-10 for the handles. (or Green Micarta like on the Hossom Series)
