Just curious about these knives. Do they come out a certain time of the year or random? Interested in a new Military or PM2 with different steels/scales, colors, etc. when they come out.

Are they hard to get your hands on when they do?

They come out after they get made according to whatever the production schedule is. For us that's basically random. Check major knife retailers and forums often to get on preorder lists.

We'll generally get a notification that they are being released with no specific date then it's up to you to get a pre-order in somewhere if it's going to be a fast mover.
Some models will sell out in hours, some sprints are still available, it's a matter of knowing which are going to be popular. Stick around here and you'll get all the info you need. ;)
 
If there's one in particular that you're interested in watch the exchange. I've picked up all of the PM2 sprints/exclusives on the exchange. It just takes a bit of patience but it's usually easier than buying them from a retailer because they usually go pretty fast.
 
two of the more recent exclusives are still available new. The elmax pm2 and the s90v millie. Still available because that particular dealer prices them fairly high but hey, at least you can still buy one.
 
When a PM2 or a Military sprint run is introduced, you have to have been paying attention and jump on them fast. Sometimes you have hours, sometimes days, occasionally you have 2 or 3 weeks but they always sell out and it's always fast. Pay attention to the websites and be ready to pay for one as soon as they are available.
