Yes ,My first morel of 2010. Found it friday night and no way could I find another one. Rain coming Sunday, maybe it will bring on some more. The weather has been holding in the low 60s at night. Got a feeling this week is going to be a good one for them.

These things are everywhere. Gypsy moth . A real serious problem here in Pa.

Wilma found mud, as always.

This tree had a band of moss all the way around,so much for that method of finding direction.

My mom's family is from McAdoo near Hazelton and I remember seeing those gypsy moths all over the place up there. I mean ALL over the place.

Funny with the moss going all the way around - I wonder how many people have walked in circles finding direction from that tree :)

lone gunman good pics i love the dog. the moths are a pest but the birds sure like them.wilma looks like an australian sheapard which are great outdoors dogs. i ca'nt take my dogs out in the boonies because of the hogs. i'm afraid they will chase & get badly injured.

Yes ,shes an Australian cattle dog or Blue Heeler . Shes only 8 months old and does pretty well . I always worry about her getting tangled up with a porcupine but we saw some dead ones Sat. and she looked and sniffed but kept her distance. She is a good turkey dog though, seems like each time we go out she breaks up a flock. Its Spring Gobbler season here now so I cant take her in the woods till the Hunters leave. They have to stop hunting by noon. Thanks.
