Sorry for any spelling errors etc. I stayed up all night to get this stuff up for you, a 16Mbyte virtual tour of Balishow 2001.

I leave at 2pm today for another convention. I'll try to get online to answer questions, etc.

Instantly recognized in Airports like Hartsfield...from a long distance.

A nice report.

You mentioned the "I Spy" Balisongs are going to be, hinted...[gulp] $100.00?

That was great, as Dawkind said it's very informative and entertaining. Theres some exciting little teasers in there too.

Thanks for taking the time to create that.

Yowzers! Thanks for all the info and great pics Chuck! I remember a little over a month ago when the options were a Jaguar, BM42 or a custom. And now I can't decide where to blow my money first! It's almost overwhelming.

The age of the Balisong is upon us!

Thanks Chuck, well done!

And thanks for the pics. The enlarged pic of the Tachyon makes nice wallpaper.

'the year of the balisong'

They're all nice, but the Tachyon really stands out for me. Nice concept, size, and high-tech look.

My knives!

Did I read that right?

New BM's coming soon. If you count the handle variations (plain, anodized, black, latchless), that's 12 total (including the 42) before October. Potentially 24 if you also want to count serrated blades as different. Maybe more coming.

MT - one. more blades coming.

Subjects A-D ... 4 or more.

Gemini ... do I count this as "one" ?

Advance Tech - haven't read any reviews, but I'll count it as "one" anyway

Maybe Spyderco ... one or more.

So, in a single month, we've gone from two (42 & 42A) to a grand total of ...

20-ish options. Give or take. And still plenty of FHM's, Jags, and CCC's.

Happy Happy!
Joy Joy!

Sounds like a ton of balisongs are going to be coming out!!!!!!
I don't think that the 43 and 47 are going to be serrated, I think the 43 would definitely look weird and the 47 would still look weird...just not as much as would the 43. Once again: fantastic job Mr. Gollnick!!!

BTW Chuck, I don't know if you have checked your email but how was the Oregon Blade Show??

Thanks Chuck!

Brings joy to the heart to see the bowie. I'll be trucking out to OR City soon to take a peak at whatever Travis and the BM crowd will let me.

Damn, have to start saving those pennies again.
