Hi All,

I'm thinking, hey, maybe there needs to be another passaround. So here's the deal. This is a passaround signup for a Spyderco Jot Khalsa.

This is my personal knife I bought several years ago and is in 97% LNIB condition. I never considered buying it until I held it in my hand and I must say it is still THE most comfortable Spyderco. I would consider it almost a gentlemans knife due to the polished micarta handle, but it's still fairly sturdy.

Here's a pic:

I think this knife has long since been discontinued, anyway if you're interested signup. The picture is deceiving as the blade is brightly polished.

The normal rules:

- Send me your snail address via email (include forum name).
- US address only for now.
- Post impressions here.
- Keep 3 days and send to the next person via priority with delivery conformation.

Thanks,

DaveH,

This is a very good idea. The Jot Singh Khalsa has been my favorite too for a long time, but I always felt the knife was completely underrated. So it's time for some good reviews... too bad it's discontinued though.

I hope some people are willing to sign up, I'd like to hear what others think of this design.

Regards,

Serge.

I will get in on this one, Geezz you guys really let me test out allot of knives. Info on the way. Thanks

Hey Dave, keep it up and you just might convince me about Spydies yet, so count me in.

OK so far we have:

1 - TheBadGuy
2 - BurkStar
3 - Baraqyal
4 - Daniel Dorn

Count me in! This should help me decide if I should get them, while they are on sale in so many places.

Thanks,
DD

Alas I'm too far away to join in the pass around, although I'd dearly like too.
This is one knife that has always fascinated me and I will enjoy reading the reviews. I'm a Gunting fan and it's similarity is striking.

OK, TheBadGuy, it's on it's way to you.

( I was sitting here this morning, thinking, I must be nuts, I like this knife! :p :p )

Sorry for not posting earlier...Dave is there another thread for posting, couldn't find it.

So, anyway, got the knife the other day and have been carrying it. Not too bad so far. The handle is a lot thicker than I'm used to, could probably get used to it, but not enough time. The blade shape, like most Spydies is unusual, to say the least, but have found it really helps in the kitchen. With all of my overtime the past couple of weeks, I really haven't had much time to use the thing, but the little bit I have I'd say overall not a bad knife but not something I'd go out of my way to look for. The width is my main complaint, its even too bulky in my pocket. It might make a good office knife if I kept it in my desk drawer.

Will get it out Monday morning, thanks Dave, this was an interesting pass-a-around. Sorry for the poor review, just haven't had time for much else.

Ive had one for over 2 yrs (?) works great!! when my wife went back to college (when we were dating) I used it to cut 2 pounds of frozen hamburger in two!!! have never sharpened it and it still cuts good!!!
