Okay, okay... ;)

First of all, my apologies to Jeff and Mike for not going with the RAT Fire Kit. :o

Second, since I'm not fantastic with plastic, many thanks to Kiah for working with me on such a small piece. The loop fits like a glove and, with the longer screws supplied, it'll stay put. :thumbup:

Third, I filed the Ziebart off the jigged section of the spine so that I could use it as the striker. It works. :)

And finally, yes, it's raining out by my woodpile this afternoon. :grumpy:

I'm probably not the first to do this sort of thing, certainly not the first to think of it. Whatever, I'm likin' it. :cool:

Look'n good ! one of the 1st MODs I did to the RC4 ... Gotta have a Firesteel loop ! I like your thinking !!!

I have attempted to contact you privately, through the forum, with no success...

Are you willing to make a few more of these firesteel loops? Does anyone know if these loops would work with RAT's fire kit (it has a 1" diameter barrel)?

Kiah - if you've got a RC-4 molle rig modification that has a firesteel loop, I'd be interested.
 
Nice work. It doesn't look like an after market add on, but something that was part of the original sheath.
