I am a huge fan of the Temperance 2, although I haven't yet bit the bullet to buy one. That'll probably be next on my list of fixed blade knives to get. I agree with Kevin above, they have different purposes based on their designs. I've always liked the Nim, too, but have been somewhat underwhelmed with the performance of the BM 154CM steel on my griptillian. I find it hard to get a better than factory edge on it, and it dulls quickly. I think all around, unless you want a purely tactical knife or try the Nim in D2 steel, my vote would be the Temperance 2. A beautiful knife for sure. Plus, you don't see many Temperance 2's around.
