So whattya think?

Benchmade Nimvarus- with machined aluminum

Spyderco Temperance 2- Canvas Micarta

I like the Spyderco Personally.

VG10 is one of my favorite steals for the money.

The kydex sheath is great as well.

It really depends on what you plan on using the knife for. If you want a tactical blade, get the nimravus. If you want a more multi purpose blade, i would go with the temperance. But I also just like the temperance more. I plan on getting one soon with one of those cruwear mule teams.

I am a huge fan of the Temperance 2, although I haven't yet bit the bullet to buy one. That'll probably be next on my list of fixed blade knives to get. I agree with Kevin above, they have different purposes based on their designs. I've always liked the Nim, too, but have been somewhat underwhelmed with the performance of the BM 154CM steel on my griptillian. I find it hard to get a better than factory edge on it, and it dulls quickly. I think all around, unless you want a purely tactical knife or try the Nim in D2 steel, my vote would be the Temperance 2. A beautiful knife for sure. Plus, you don't see many Temperance 2's around.
