Is yours cut evenly? I had one way off on a delica on side looked like a machete and the other was nearly flat. Then a delica that is close to ok and an endurance that is perfect

I found this true with just about all knives. It's all done bye hand so it will never be perfect.

I got myself a wicked edge, if I like the knife and I'm keeping it, I'll reprofile the bevel edge the way I like it, write it down to make it easier to do touch ups.

Mine wasn't perfect but neither were any of my other factory blades, Spyderco or otherwise...

I understand they can't be perfect but this one was terrible like 10 degrees on one side and 70 on the other

I sent back two super blue delicas due to uneven bevels.... bad enough that I couldn't live with them. After the second I just asked for my money back. I will be getting the dragonfly 2 super blue, love the steel.

I had the same problem with the Super Blue Endura. I usually don't reprofile until it is time to sharpen. I had one side that is less than 10 degrees and the other side was probably hitting around 30. Took a long time with the diamond rods to get it down to 15 - still a big streak on the other side that I haven't touched. I use all of mine, so I am not that concerned. Not real impressed with the qc on this (the bevels - everything else is great), however. Yes, I know the bevels/sharpening is done by hand, but would expect it to be a little closer than that. I noticed the same thing on the Calypso I recieved recently as well as the Caly 3.5 Super Blue. I typically do not see that much disparity in the Golden Spydercos with the Taiwan Spydercos pretty close to the money right out of the box. I do expect to have to reprofile any/all knives I get, but have noticed it takes a bit more on alot of the Seki models I have picked up - maybe I'm just hitting a run of bad luck. Definately not going to stop me from buying Spydercos!
