This has been a little ongoing debate between me and my friends and the question is... What the hell does Spyderco do with the holes that they cut out? I think they just toss them and i've heard that Spyderco will actually send you some of them but I don't know about that. But any feedback would be nice to settle this arguement.

it's a little know secret, but i own the very first hole spyderco ever cut out--serial number 001...

been thinking about selling it... ;)

Call Spyderco customer service, they might ship you some.
There have been a few here who did just that.

the youtube user CutleryLover actually sent a email to Spyderco asking the same question and they just mailed him an envelope with a bunch of different sized spyderhole punch outs.

Probably toss most of them, but every now and then they grab some. Got a few with me at the moment. A few of us were interested, so they sent a hundred or so to a forumite and he divvied them up and sent them out to everyone who wanted a few.

All you need to do is shoot them an e-mail, apparently. They're friendly folk over there.
Also, Ben, check your User CP.

I'm surprised they don't use these.

Larger ones could be made into fobs for keys and lanyards. Tumble them to get the sharp edges off, etch, and add a through hole.

I was actually thinking of tapping holes in them and putting them on a paracord braclet but I cannot seem to find a drill bit that would allow me to do that.

And YayILikePie I couldnt find your email on your BladeForums profile so I posted mine as a visitor message shoot me an email when you get and and I'll give you my shipping info.
