Just received new delica4 with zdp steel just wondering if spyder logo is supposed to be smooth on my southard its slightly raised up.

Mines smooth, on the hap40 Delica, in my pocket..
Raised on many of my other Spydies..

Look at the Spyder on the Taiwan made knives under a magnifying glass Hard to make counterfeit on these.

The Southard is made in Taichung Taiwan and the Delica in Seki City Japan, they use a different process to put the markings on their knives. Laser engraved v stamped. Its normal for the Taiwan models to be a bit raised and Japanese to not be.

The Taiwan Spydies have more of a laser engraving where you can the details of the legs going into the body if you look at it from different angle. The Colorado and Seki have the flat etching more like its silk screened
