how about some views on the Spydercard, maybe as knife number 3 for EDC...best price i found was $26..

I've carried my Spydercard 50/50, in my wallet of course, for a few months now. I haven't had the need to use it, mainly because I always carry a couple of Spydies as primary and backup EDCs, as well as a Jester on my keychain. Because of this, my Spydercard still has that out-of-the-box razor sharpness.;)

It's reassuring though, that just in case a situation were to arise(i.e. a quick run to the store) and I don't have an EDC on me, the Spydercard would be more than enough knife to take care of any task.

It's one of my favorite Spydies. I highly recommend it.:D

I have carried my 50/50 Spydercard in my wallet for some time. It works well as a back up knife and does not upset people. However the grind, low end steel and glass bead finish are not to my taste.

If I was to make some changes... better steel 8a as a starter, pref VG-10. However the need to keep the cost down is understood. One important change would be a dark grey or black Teflon coating rather than rust magnet glass bead.
