After watching for the Green Atlantic serrated (C89FSGR) for over a month now, the major internet knife vendors have bumped the price up from $100 to $125 with no stock to sell. bladehq will put you in line for a $5 deposit. Their ad copy still describes an additional cost of $94.40 to pay the remaining balance. Wondering if they will honor that price for those who have preordered...

Not complaining, but curious to know if production complications caused the price increase.

That’s just yearly price increase.

Yearly price increase on a product never before sold? The item isn't even out yet.
It would be interesting if a Spyderco insider could give specifics for the increase. I'm still definitely purchasing the Green serrated Atlantic. The straight blade edge on Wharncliffe and sheepfoot knives are so efficient for the box, bag and plastic package opening so often required in this day and age.

I'm no insider and I do not know anything about the increase except that it started 2021. I can verify that there was a batch of Pacific Green released at the end of 2020...they just sold out quickly. I was able to get a serrated Pacific Green and I love it.

I never had the former problem, but I'm certainly being teased by a few yet-to-be-released models I've been looking forward to for some time! lol
 
It looks like the 2021 Product Guide doesn’t have anything new that was announced in Reveals 4-6 that are still pending?

When is Reveal Volume 7 dropping?

Para3 G-10 and ParaMilitary2 models which had CPM-S30V are transitioning to CPM-S45VN but keeping the same model numbers?

Was finally able to buy one (only plain edge currently available) to pair w/the uncoated plain edged version that I already own.

Now just waiting for the Pattadese to pair w/my Pattada. Standing by . . .
