I was at knifecenter today and took a look at one just for fun and was very surprised! Steel liners and torx screw construction with an adjustable pivot?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW Spyderco finally did it. So I looked a little harder. It had a thicker tip on it's VG-10 blade and a cool spyder etched into the blade. The new pocket clip is well made and can be attached on either side, tip up, or tip down. The new Delica is noticable heavier due to the steel liners instead of the old all plastic design. Opening and closing is very smooth, and the lock is very secure. The lock release has the detent on it that the Spyderco MBC knives have. This new version is far superior to the old and although I was skeptical due to the photos, after I held it I was sold. At a street price of under $50.00 you can't go wrong. Hopefully in the next week or two. I hadn't planned on an Endura 4, but it's on the same order. After my Al Mar SERE 2K purchase, I really hadn't planned on another larger folder, but.......
I tend to carry my FRN Delica loose, so it should be interesting to see how the Delica 4 fares. I'm very fond of my Delica
