I'll be getting to this one in line with others figured I'd put it up today.

Going to try to bring this to a nice point along the lines of the Wharncliffe look. Here is a before shot.

Ok here is the after pic. Hard to believe the cutting edge is still the same length but its to a point as requested.

Thanks and sorry for the delay.

Looks nice. Just happened across this subforum and saw this. Thank you and looking forward.

:D
STR, great job. Excellent profile, quick turnaround, affordable!
At first I had been thinking of something like a modified spear point, but I see what you did, it makes perfect sense, and it is simply excellent.

THANK YOU.

That's pretty cool. I was wondering what a wharncliffe mod would turn out like on a knife that is serrated to the very tip. STRs wharncliffe mods are really nice.

Yes, I think a wharnecliffe like this is brilliant. Kind of what I wish Spyderco had done to begin with, but c'est la vie. STR did a fantastic job reprofiling, staying in communications so I wouldn't wonder what's happening, and getting it back to me.

Beautiful work Steve.
You did good diamdave ... ;)

Kind of what I wish Spyderco had done to begin with.
Yeah, BUT.... IF, you are gonna use it as a Rescue Knife .. IMO, that sharper point is no good. At least not for me... I'd end up stabbing the injured person while trying to help them........:o

Yes, I agree that could be a problem.... but for a nice city street carry knife, though, that pattern is really nice.
