Hello to all.

Just read something about Spyderco possibly coming out with a knife based on Mr. Hossom's "Chainsaw" knives. Any info would be appreciated.

all i ask for is high end steel. PLEASE!!! this AND the schempp fixed blade? friggin spyderco taking over fixed blades now yippeee!

CPM-3V? please!?! if kershaw/ZT knives can do it why not spyderco! please no stainless on big fixed blades. i don't care how much technology is put into it, stainless will never be as tough as a good high carbon tool steel.

OMG i'm so excited, i always wanted a hossom design.

3V 3V 3V 3V!!!!!!!!

I believe I read where Jerry stated there would be pototypes at Blade this year . . . . and I am with Madfast, please make em out of a good steal like 3v or for me even BG42 . . .

I'd also be interested in the time-frame, we are talking about.
TIA

A noble request, but the answer will probably come right before the words "estimates only" :D It's alright though, we've found that when it comes to Spyderco's new models, its best not to rush genius.

I hope that they have the protos at BLADE! That would be friggin' awesome!

On Jerry Hossum's forum on KnifeForums he said:

"Spyderco will have prototypes in their booth at Blade. I'll be at table B1, which is just about next door to them."
