Thanks, btw I can verify some peoples concerns, the clip on the tilt is not the best design. See post #9 for explanation on why I feel this way

As long as the clip is ti im fine with it ??if its ss it will eventually snap

Edit : a quick google and I saw on a couple threads in wichthe it said is Ti

Yeah ,there was definitely some questioning the clip design . You see my username and let me just say I would take the tilt over my cf military in second.Believe me that is saying a lot cause I love my new cf military. The peel ply is grippier then that on my cf stretch and I love that. That said the clip grabs my jean pocket on the way out on a pair of loose jeans and a pair of tight jeans. It snags ,comes off and hits down on frame. IMO it is the one and only negative comment I can make about this knife. I still love it though!

Hmm...never had that problem with my Tilt's clip. It sounds like yours might be a bit too tight. Have you tried adjusting the tension by bending it out a bit? I know what you mean about overly tight Ti clips being a pain in the arse -- my BM 755 came the same way and was a real nuisance until I adjusted it a bit.
 
I guess I could bend it out a little and try that. As of right now it doesn't make contact with frame by a hair
 
Maybe I'm slow but when the the Tilt come out without the black blade? And can I assume they are as hard to acquire as the black blade variety? Sorry for the hijack . . . I'd sure like to get one . . .
 
I think they are still hard to find. I had a pre order with kershawguy for a black one but I guess I was too far down on the list. He contacted me about this one on Saturday and bam its here today and boy is it nice.
I just got dressed to go out for the night. It comes out of my favorite pair of jeans no problem but you can see why that might be lol

Nice! The tilt is one of my favorite knives. Personally I prefer the black version. It reminds me of a stealth fighter. lol .:D
 
I wish they'd make a Tilt in G10. I mean, I still couldn't afford one, but I'd be far more inclined to drool over it. I absolutely adore the shape, though!
 
I didn't think I would like the smooth cf because I usally prefer grippier g10 but I couldn't have been more wrong. Smooth cf is a lot grippier then I thought it would be. When I go back to work in a couple of weeks Im going to get a spyderco cf caly now
 
Mmm I just trade my CF Millie in M390 for a Tilt. The Millie wasn't what I expected and I already have the BM AFCK in M390.
