Original Model Spyderco Viele Plainedge
Plainedge blade of AUS8 stainless steel,
Liner lock typical of the first generation of this knife.
It locks solidly with no blade play with the liner all
the way over to the right side of the tang. Knife has been lightly carried and touched–up on the Spyderco Sharpmaker. Its shaving sharp.
There are no dings, bumps, nicks, smudges or scratches on the
knife blade or handles. They don’t make these any more. The Viele was available in plain and fully serrated versions, and now the new Viele II is smaller. Available here is a discontinued Full Size Plainedge Viele. SOLD

It says "Newbeam" and "Opalec" on it. I bought it here a few years back, tried it, it works, then set it aside.

It has three LEDs. I just looked and there is a red filter too.
