Is this blade a waste of money?Mora knives seem to be in same range of quality ....and much cheaper!Any experiences are welcome!

Different grinds, different handle materials, different blade steels, different blade shape, different sheaths.

You're comparing two completely different knives, when you get that far apart in style you're getting into the realm of personal opinions and less fact comparisons.

The serrated Aqua Salt is a powerful cutter, the H1 steel is rustPROOF, and the hand-filling handle has Spyderco bidirectional checkering for a very secure grip in all conditions.

To which I will add: different intended usages. And I will add that H1 is so rust resistant that the steel alone puts the Salt in a completely different category from the Mora.

The aqua salt is in an entirely different class than the mora. As someone who owns several and uses them daily for work in salt water hard use environments, it is easily my favorite knife of all time. I own many high dollar knives in exotic super steels, but serrated H1 will NEVER let you down and will cut under any conditions. It is truly a "bomb proof knife" and it comes with a good sheath as well. Give it a chance, get the serrated version and never look back. Its going to change your perspectives of what a knife should be, as long as your not trying to chop down trees. My only complaint is the lack of texture on the top of the handle, i put my thumb there for extra pressure when cutting, and neoprene or kevlar gloves slip on smooth frn. I texture them with a soldering iron, works very well. They should add it from the factory.
