Spyderco as money clip

So I need to justify a new knife purchase and I failed .... But I could use a new money clip heheheh

So I think you know where this is going... Any one use any spidies as money clips
Pic encouraged:)

I've used a Spyderco CoPilot as my money clip a few times, but didn't really like it. Clip's just too small to be effective and only holds a few bills. Could probably use a Techno or another wire clipped Spydie, although I haven't tried that.

Never use one as a money clip as I prefer to have my bills safely inside my wallet which is thicker than any thief can get out of my pocket without my noticing (From lots of cards like my high angle rescue cards etc...not from excess money lol), but the Spin makes an excellent tie clip.

I've done this with knives in the past, but I stopped after having to sneak my money out below the counter to avoid looking like a homicidal maniac to the sheeple in like :p

Yep, sadly, I've used a dragonfly many times. Alcohol is usually the culprit though.

No doubt ... But I'd like some cash left to clip to it lol

The Techno is worth every penny of its' cost, and then some. It's such a great knife, it makes it hard to put its awesomeness into words. Buy one and you'll likely think the same...and if not you'll get very close to your initial costs back...there's a lot of people that love the knife, and with good reason.

I've occasionally used a Lava as one...

It works well enough, but these days I use a debit card for virtually everything, so I can go months at a time without ever carrying cash.

The Spin and Cricket would probably serve as good money clips. I either use a slim leather wallet with a built in clip or just go broccoli wad style and use a rubber band.

I use a dragonfly on a daily basis as a money clip. Works perfectly for me. Light and not too intimidating to non knife people.
