I've been looking forward to the new Spyderco Assist Salt rescue folder and it's out now! The previous models in the Assist line were VG-10 and this one is H-1!
The following pictures depict a regular VG-10 model but the capabilities are the same:
- 3.68" hollow-ground blade of H-1 with a blunt tip and thickness of 0.118"
- The SpyderEdge blade is mostly serrations but the front inch is plain edge
- Weighs just 3.9 ounces with the FRN handles
- Street price of around $90
- Carbide glass breaker
- Survival whistle
- Rope cutter
