Spyderco Assist with Carbide Tip

Has anyone used the carbide tip on the assist knife? I am wondering if anyone has tested the tip on glass or not. I love my rescue, but I would like to add an assist to the collection as well.

If it works as it should, I'm going to get one and leave in the car. Cut the seat belt, break the window, get out to safety etc.
