WOW.... First and foremost, I cant believe how small this thing is yet it is oozing with quality. I've watched reviews, looked at pictures, comparisons and etc but until you have this knife in hand you dont know what your missing.

Carbon fiber spydies are my favorite, and ofcourse with this model spyderco did a fantastic job. I also love spydies LBK.


This thing is BUILT, man that liner lock really engages and snaps into place with authority.


As many have also noted the price tag.... Yes its high for such a small knife ut you know what... I can see it. Fortunately I traded into the knife so nothing came out of my pocket.


If you have the chance to get a balance. GET IT.

A bit off topic, but I just managed to get my mits on a Lava today and it's an amazing little folder ! If you can grab one at a reasonable price, do it !

ps: I love the Balance, but can't see myself buying one at that price, sorry... I'd rather grab me a Para 2 or something along those lines,,,
 
Wow! I never realized how small it was until i saw it next to the police. Looks like a nice little knife.
 
Wonderful little knife. I used to say that Ed Schempp's most beautiful collaboration with Spyderco is the Persian (full size), but that was till the Balance showed up.

BTW: I love your adventura, I need to gets my hand on one. I regret the times I passed on it!
