Just got both of these from a fellow member and, my gosh, two very different but equally awesome folders.
The Barong is such a joy to hold. Ed's designs are, in my opinion, just about perfect for my hands. I love the smoothness, the negative blade angle and the aesthetics.
The Lum Tanto is strange to me. On paper, I wouldn't think I'd like it so much. It does have a negative blade angle, it's got a tanto tip, and it's quite large. But, as soon as I put it in my hands, those thoughts are meaningless. This knife is balanced! Something about the weight, the handle shape (tapers large towards the butt), and the blade length make it feel like a mini samurai sword. Awesome knife!
Pics coming soon!
If you get a chance to buy either of these, don't hesitate.
