I have a spyderco Dragonfly (my first Spydie!) and really love the thing. My wife does too so I recently purchased a Dragonfly for her and a Delica for myself, (can't have just one Spyderco.:D) What I noticed right away, though, upon receiving the new knives is that they both have the Spyderco logo on the blade whereas my Dragonfly does not. It's not a big deal to me (although it is kind of cool) but did Spyderco just start adding the logo to the blade or did mine just get missed?

Spyderco did not always have that Spyder logo on the blade. It's only a recent thing. I think 2005 and later.

I have an FRN Dragonfly and it has no Spyder on the blade. ;)

Mine must have been old stock Knifecenter (where I purchased it) had as I bought it only about two weeks ago. No big deal, I was just curious. Great knives! The Dragonfly is fully serrated and it is a cutting machine!

As Joe Dirt said, they've been putting it on new models for a couple years now. But it only recently has started showing up on the latest batch of a few of the older models as well. There are still a number of models that don't have it. If the two Dragonflies came in boxes, there's a two letter date code on the box, first letter is the month A = Jan, B = Feb, and so on. Second letter is the year, currently F for 06.
