Spyderco Bob Lum chinese folder (discontinued)

I have a grey one as my EDC and I absolutely love this knife....ditto on the funds... :(

Is that a BLUE handle?

I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. It's too much money. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't. I shouldn't.

I've got two Microtech LUDTs up for trade if you do a search. Even though they're each worth more, I'd happily give you one of them for the Spyderco Lum Chinese.

I think they were made exclusively for Boker (Germany's Spyderco distributor). One thousand pieces if I'm not mistaken. I have one. Mine's a user.

I think there where only green & blue. They grey color is probably from the lighting.

I saw a Lum Chinese on ebay last week that had a limited edition graphic on the handle. It had a spider inside a web on the handle. It looked awesome but the auction price got fairly high.
I own the green and blue handled versions but the graphics version was a new one on me.

I know. I bid $150 on that knife and got blown out of the water. ;)

I've seen a lot of different models with that sort of embellishment. No mention on Spyderco's site that I can find, but the auctions all say "factory engraved" (etched, really). I've seen Crickets, Polices, Delica IIs, Dragonflys, Native IIs, pretty much any of the steel-sided models seems to be getting it.

I actually grabbed a Dragonfly with the etch, it's not bad. I'd prefer it blacker, rather than the dark brown it came out, but it adds a nice touch to those slab sides.
