I'm in love with both of these blades and I really cannot deside which to get. so I figured someone on here could maybe help me.

It really comes down to size preference. They're both really nice (the Southard is arguably a little bit nicer imho) but are very different in terms of intended usage. The Southard is an edc knife, plain and simple. It is slim and light in the pocket and packs nearly as much cutting edge as the spyderco Military in a MUCH smaller overall package. The 0560 on the other hand is a large knife, too big for edc for many people including myself. It's intended for harder use (abuse?) and it's market demographic tends to be military and public service officers. Again, I much prefer the Southard, but that's because for most of my uses the zt is overkill, big time.

I was debating that myself.I ordered the southard on Friday and it showed up today. I am very happy did. The stone wash on it is beautiful. It is smooth as hell. The lock up is early. It feels a little short compared to my para 2 handle wise anyway. It also rides great in the pocket. With that being said I am glad I purchased this knife first but I still see a zt in my future.
