Hey several months ago I saw in this forum someone had gotten the Spyderco "Bug" tattoed on them. They also posted a pic. I have been thinking about getting one of the same. (It's a mid life crisis thing) I would like to see it again so i can mull this decision over if I really want to do it..
Thanks in advance guys

Royo:

What I did was to clip the logo from a site and then add color with photoshop...I gotta get the second half done which will be Civilians forming a Yin/Yang around it..

You know this is funny .i am almost 40 years old and i am thinking about a tattoo. I remember when I was younger and I said something to my father about it he always told me that he would cut whatever body part it was off where i got the tattoo. Oh well I guess You are never too old to be in Dutch with the folks

No pictures of any Prince Albert piercings, please!

I hope that was reference to a Spydiebug tattoo.

I always wondered though, if you get a Prince Albert and remove the ring, can you do lawn sprinkler immitations?

People will talk about sawing their own leg off with a Civy, but mention one little hole in something that already has one in it anyway, and people get all squirrly.

Royo -- am substantially older than you, and I've been considering/reconsidering/whatever a tattoo also. The only thing I've ever come up with that I'm fairly sure I won't get tired of is USMC -- wanted to have that done before I went to 'Nam, but couldn't bear it as I didn't really drink yet. Had clear understanding one had to be drunk to withstand the pain. I've majored in pain since '89, and know it couldn't be as bad as what I've gone thru.

Now, a new idea. Course, Spydies will have to replace CRKT in my heart before that can happen. They don't have a symbol do they? A bug makes a lot of sense when you think about it . . .

Thinkof: Yup got the piercing done on 4-6-01 ..Not as bad as many think...There is no real pain..A heavy prick and pain for about 2 seconds...You never feel the needle or the jewlery pass through...Walking was perfectly normal also no pain...Theres a site with alot of info if your interested just mail me and I will send you the addy..I wont post the link here because the site has many photos and information thats not for the younger audience..

Paul D...Was just joking about that at work the otherday...

Bugs3x...Not bad at all as pain goes...depends on location...No reputable tattoo artist with ink ya with even the slightest hint alcahol on yer breath. ...maybe for a tat the artist could come up with somthing with both a cricket(symbol or good luck) and a spyder..

Paul: what he doesn't tell you is that right after he got it done I was sitting in a chair with him standing beside me and without thinking tapped him with my hand to get his attention and he almost passed out OOPS His buddy who was getting a tattoo at the time was laughing so hard the tattooist had to stop

Then there is the look of fear in his face everytime the 3 year old daughter runs to him to hug him. LOL
...... Now you know the rest of the story....

Crzybait,
You are a good friend to come on here and share that.

In some parts of the world it is said that a woman will not wed a man unless he gets an ampalang piercing. Often a few years later the wife will demand another perpindicular piercing (forget the name of that one) or threaten divorce. No sterile needles or hypoallergenic jewelry for those folks either. Everything is wood or bone. (Huh..huh...huh...he said...) That's what I call love.

This thread has brought out a real juvenile humor streak in me. I have certainly enjoyed the laughs. I'm surprised it hasn't been moved to Whine and Cheese though.

The tatoo isn't too ugly, but for god sakes, man, the piercing is just self mutilation.
