Thought I'd post some pics and info about my refurb job on my Spyderco bushcraft 2nd.
I am much indebted to the various people here who have posted advice in similar threads about how this might be approached; the information was very helpful.
Sorry I didn't take 'before' pics. I was fortunate in not having too much in the way of cracking; there was one one each side, which were obvious, but not too bad. They didn't pass through the rivets or lanyard hole.
First I soaked the handle in Minwax Wood Hardener for about 5 days. Then I filled the cracks with layers of Ultra-Thin Super Glue. Next I soaked the handle for a week in Danish Oil. Lastly I buffed it with carnuba wax.
I'm happy with how it turned out. Thanks to Sal for making these 2nds available.
